Aquabox allowed a fast and easy installation of a high-capacity rainwater basin in the coastal town of Punta Ala, in the province of Grosseto, Tuscany. The system was built for rainwater retention and reuse for irrigation of the nearby Equestrian Center field.
Aquabox modules were engineered for manual installation - they weigh less than 10 kg and can be installed by simply placing and locking the modules together. As a result, the Punta Ala basin was built in only 7 days by 5 workers, with a 200 m3 capacity.
